A beautiful, useful community space has flowered from the efforts of residents at Whincover Grange. As well as transforming an underused space into something impressive and fresh, the residents have become the first project in Yorkshire to be awarded Community Spaces funding.
The £50m lottery funded programme was obviously impressed by the transformation, unveiled by Labour activist John Hardy alongside John Battle MP. Improved access means that residents can make full use of the new space, complete with benches and new fences. |
